How to model a T-nut in FreeCAD
This tutorial shows you several approaches that I used to model a T-nut. T-nut's are used in jigs, fixtures, and furniture to provide a mounting point where parts can be easily attached or removed. The T-nut accepts a bolt that can be inserted or removed many times, without damaging the wood, plywood, or MDF.
I will show you a couple of methods that I used, and will share my experience with those methods.
