The Mirror Tool allows you to mirror an object about a plane.

Important

The Mirror Tool requires that the object and its mirror be supported by some other object in the model otherwise the mirror will not be created.

The Mirror Tool creates a mirror around the plane that you choose. The plane does not have to be one of the base planes - it can be a datum plane that you have specifically created for the task.

Limitation

The Mirror Tool does not allow you to mirror an existing mirrored object. For example, if you create a pocket in one corner of a rectangular block you can only create mirrored pockets in two of the remaining three corners using the Mirror Tool. You will need to use FreeCAD's Multitransform Tool instead.
